Shibori to stara japońska technika farbowania. Przed farbowaniem tkaniny były zawiązywane, przeszywane, składane - często w bardzo wyszukane formy. Tkanina ma charakterystyczną fakturę i wzory składające się z kropeczek.

Hand-folded out of finest white habotai and shibori (tie-dye) silk and adorned with glass white acrylic rhinestone - tsumami kanzashi is a time-consuming technique!

The flower measures around 3cm, and is double-layered.

The back, unlike most kanzashi, is not textile-covered cardboard, but specially prepared felt, which makes this kanzashi more durable than most other. It's also a special Wisteria Gardens feature!
